Building Hermóðr, my own agentic OS on Hermes

Everyone's talking about Hermes. I'm building on top of it: a Norse-themed agent OS where each agent is a god with one job.

Everyone's talking about Hermes, the agent model from Nous Research.

I'm building on top of it. This is Hermóðr, my own agentic OS, and the rest of this is a quick tour.

The Pantheon

Each agent is a Norse god with one job.

Odin plans and orchestrates. Heimdall watches search and competitors. Loki runs social and growth. Thor writes and ships code. Bragi handles copy. Freya owns design and UI.

Communing with an agent

Each agent has its own chat. Summon Odin, the orchestrator, and he answers.

The work, tracked

A built-in Kanban plugin tracks the build itself. The columns are Mead-Hall (backlog), On the Longship (doing), and To Valhalla (done).

Hermes is the Greek messenger. Hermóðr is the Norse one. The name wasn't an accident.

I'll be sharing how it works, and what I learn building it, here.
